Jen Carfagno
Jennifer
"Jen" Carfagno (born on July 18, 1976) is an American meteorologist
on television, and is currently working for The Weather Channel (TWC) and
co-hosting AMHQ from 6 to 9 am every weekday alongside Stephanie Abrams and Jim
Cantore. Carfagno was born in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. In 1998, she received
a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology at Pennsylvania State University. Carfagno
joined The Weather Channel in 1998 as a fulltime forecaster. While she was in
Penn State, she worked as an intern. She was a part of The Weather Channel
on-camera meteorologist apprentice program and earned hours in front of cameras
every weekend. Between 2013 and the year 2016, Alex Wallace and Carfagno hosted
Weather Center Live the show, which was broadcast on Thursdays-Fridays at 6:00
AM , and on Saturdays at 7 am. Carfagno's twitter account has 993,000 followers
on April 20 2018. The page also has an activity count of approximately 21,300
tweets. Perkiomen Valley High School provided the education she needed. She was
a swim instructor in the school's pool. In 1998, Jen enrolled in Penn State
University and received the Bachelor of Arts degree in Meteorology. Jen worked
as an intern for TWC in the year following her degree.
