Cattrall (born 21 August 1956) is an British and Canadian actress. Her role in
the role of Samantha Jones in HBO's Sex and the City (1998-04) is one of her
most famous roles. She received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden
Globe Award nominees. In 2002, she received the Golden Globe for Best
Supporting Actress. The role was reprised in the films Sex and the City (2008)
and Sex and the City 2 (2011). Her film debut came in Rosebud (1975) as well as
she was later cast in several roles on television. The 1980s saw she gained to
fame thanks to films like Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984) and
Hold-Up (1985). She has also appeared in City Limits (1985), Big Trouble in
Little China(86), Mannequin (1987), Masquerade (1888), Midnight Crossing (1988)
and The Return of the Musketeers (1989). Tribute (1980), Porky's (81), Turk
182(85), and Baby Geniuses (999) were among the occasions where she was in the
spotlight with Bob Clark. Her credits in films include The Bonfire of the
Vanities (90), Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country(91) as well as Split
Second(92), Above Suspicion (1995) as well as 15 Minutes (2001),
