Naomi Watts
Naomi Ellen Watts, born 28 September 1968 was an British actress from Britain. She made her debut in film in Australia in For Love Alone (1986) which was followed by three television series: Hey Dad.. (1990), Brides of Christ (911) and Home and Away (1991) and Flirting (1991). Watts was an unsuccessful actor when she first arrived in the United States. She acted in films with a small budget and then was a professional actress. Her rise to fame on the international stage was spurred by the part. Watts then portrayed a tortured journalist in the horror film The Ring (2002). As a character in the film, she played grieving mother in Alejandro film 21 Grams, she was nominated to win an Academy Award for Best Actress. Her profile continued to grow through her starring roles in I Heart Huckabees (2004), King Kong (2005), Eastern Promises (2007) as well as The International (2009).
